Rhythm Heaven Megamix will be be available on October 21 in both digital and physical formats. These characters include a bear in a bee outfit, a man with a car on his head, and a person obsessed with donuts that he constantly calls handsome. Nintendo has announced a release date for the European version of the game. Along the way, you’ll help an eccentric cast of characters by helping them get their flow back. It is centred on helping a boy get back to his home in the sky (known as Heaven World).
RHYTHM HEAVEN MEGAMIX RELEASE DATE US SERIES
Rhythm Heaven Megamix is the first game in the series to have an actual storyline. I’m a huge fan of over the top Japanese influenced games, and this is peak zaniness. Unfortunately, there is no way to tell while playing if you’re going to pass or not until the game is over, which means repeating the entire mini-game instead of quickly choosing to restart and save yourself time, though the option to restart is there.
While hitting notes slightly early or late still count, it provides fewer points-meaning you may fail the game. I rarely found myself hitting notes precisely when intended, and I’m a seasoned veteran of the genre.
On top of that, the timing required to hit notes perfectly demands the most precision I’ve ever encountered. I know the franchise has quite a number of fans in the Rocket Chainsaw staff (and for good reason), so don’t be to surprised if you start to hear a bit more on this title around it’s launch later this year. The fact that there is no guide will surely turn some off, as it makes Rhythm Heaven Megamix far more difficult than most music games I’ve played. It’s as weird as it sounds, but definitely a ton of fun and this 3DS entry looks to perhaps be one of the best in the series, taking some of the best mini-games from the past entries in the franchise, including the Japanese only GBA release, Rhythm Tengoku, and adding in a handful of brand new mini games to boot. In this case,”get their hands on” is quite literally true, as while North America was only treated to a digital release, Australia will be also be seeing a physical release in stores.įor those unfamiliar with the Rhythm Paradise series, they feature a set of obscure mini games (very similar to that of the WarioWare series) that involve completing a variety of tasks ranging from interviewing pro wrestlers, filling robots up with fuel to make them work or even plucking the chin hairs off of an onion, all to the beat of a very catch tune. Today, Nintendo has finally announced the exact date for the game’s Australian and New Zealand release. Re-branded as Rhythm Paradise Megamix for PAL regions, players will be able to get their hands on the game on October 22nd. Rhythm Heaven Megamix, also known as Rhythm Paradise Megamix in Europe and Australia, Rhythm Tengoku: The Best+ in Japan, and Rhythm World: The Best+ in South Korea, is a rhythm game released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2015 in Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan and in 2016 in the rest of the world, and is the fourth installment of the Rhythm Heaven series. However, excitement quickly turned to disappointment when it was revealed this only applied to North America, while us down under along with our European counterparts would have to wait until at least October to pick up this quirky rhythm game. Back at E3 this year, quite a few 3DS owners were excited when Rhythm Heaven Megamix was revealed to be “out now” on Nintendo’s Treehouse Livestream.
